I got the Large even though I have a Jack Russell and I am glad, it has just enough bounce and resistance, not sure it would last long with large, strong dog. Easy to use and has reduced the strain and pull for both me and the dog.

Strong bungee The larger size bungee lead extender feels very strong and durable. It does the job I want it to. Excellent personal service from Long Paws who answered my email question very quickly and honestly.

This is a great bit of equipment wish I’d had one years ago, for me it’s as a training aid for the dog to learn to mange its own pace and balance, what makes it difference to other products is because it’s shorter. The long ones can let dogs quickly get out of balance and potentially ‘mischief’ before getting to its maximum stretch and reaching an inevitable stop this one absorbs enough of the energy to prevent the jarring physical and emotional effect a dog can have on a fixed length lead. Once a dog has learnt balance and its pace, then other stretchy lead’s will be there in emergency probably if I fell over!
this is a brilliant idea as I can use my existing lead that I love. It's slightly too strong a bungee as My dog is 15kg but he is a spaniel and will lurch. It is helping my shoulders a lot though and I think he is walking better on the lead now :)

Nice handy bit of kit.
Bought the small dog extension lead elastic. Our dog is only 4kg with painful joints. We bought this to ease her stopping from running when she runs out of lead. It does a good job however, I think it’s a bit heavy for her. I have to help the extendy lead wind in . It also hangs to one side of her body rather than raise above. I only use it when we are walking across fields when I know she will want to run. I take it off for road walking. She’s on pain meds and physio.

Really pleased with our anti shock bungee lead extender. The elastic is strong with good resistance and it's not too heavy. It provides decent suspension and reduces the sharp jerky shocks to our shoulders. Our dog isn't a constant puller, but occasionally she gets quite excited and strong. The rest of the time I've been pleased to find that the bungee doesn't cause the lead to hang down and drag along pavement. Genuinely happy with this purchase - should have got one years ago!
Brilliant bungee extender. I have an excessive puller on the long line this extension helps massively. It's the perfect length as it doesn't get caught or drag along the ground. I waited two months for the large size to be back in stock and I'm ecstatic with it. I actually purchased two! Highly recommend

I needed a grap leas for my Jack Russell. This works well as it can attach to his collar and not get in his way.

I bought this to use with my 8 month old 20kg puppy, having hurt my back and being a bit old. I needed a shock absorber which wasn't too stretchy, for road safety purposes, and could be used with a balance harness and training lead. I bought a lighter-weight one years ago to use with my previous dog and felt it stretched too much if he got spooked by traffic.This is perfect. My back felt the difference straight away and I'm sure the puppy likes it. It's very well-made and sturdy and I recommend it.
I decided to get this little bungee because my Border Terrier was pulling so much and hurting my shoulder. It’s already made a huge difference to both of us. He feels the strain on his harness gradually building if he reaches the end of the lead, rather than the huge jerk you get without it. He seems ready to turn back too, realising he needs to pause. Wish I’d got one sooner!

Bungee tastic Following 6 months of arm stretching I took advice from a dog trainer and bought this bungee extender. It’s fantastic, no more sudden jerks to my shoulders or wrists. Even a 0-60 in 30 seconds zoomie from my greyhound Labrador cross is manageable with this attached. I chose the large one as she’s quite strong. I’m so pleased I bought it.
