Doris is 11 years old now and has had her bottle since she was 1, she loves it and at times chooses it over a bowl of water, it has lost all it paint on the outside, the carabiner has long since gone and the lid no longer stays attached, I have lost count of the number of times I have dropped it, but it never brakes, just a new dent to the collection, so many other dogs have worked out how to drink from it too, best water bottle I ever bought!
This is a good idea having a spare so I can give the original bottle top a soak to keep it clean since it can’t be dismantled. Bottle of steel bottom shown with a pinch of sulphur in the water to cool the diggsies. Unfortunately none of the critters I walk have shown any inclination towards drinking from the ball mechanism to date. Two of them (previous owner was abusive) seem a bit fearful when I’ve tried, & shy away until I take the top off the bottle. It would be a great idea to introduce to fearless puppies as I’ve seen dogs drinking from squirt top bottles. One star dropped as I’d like is a much stronger carabiner for the 750ml bottle I purchased. The one attached only looks strong enough for the 250ml version.
I find the smaller one is great, as it's lighter on my shoulder in the bottle holder. Specially as I'm walking a long way. Plus no waste of water . The dogs love it, throughly recommend them much better than the saucer ones.

This was a replacement for our last lick and flow bottle which I left in a pub in Cornwall 🫣. We have been using these bottles for many years and Callie is our third GSD to use one. She has been using one since the 1st day we bought her home at the age of 8 weeks when she took to it immediately. Now when we are out and she wants a drink she will nudge the bottle with her nose.These bottles are brilliant...they keep the water cool, easy to use and are large enough for a big dog on a decent hike. Over the years we have had many questions about them and I am always happy to recommend them!
Thought it would be handy to keep a spare seal for the future. I thought it was an excellent idea to include these spares with the listing as it saves having to buy a whole new bottle just because of one small seal. Good thinking!
innovative idea; didn't take my 10yr old cockapoo to pick up how to use it. Water stays clean and fresh. Easy to use and clean.
Great item and really useful but i find it leaks a lot and the water runs too freely without my dog even licking it

Store owner replied: HI Christine Thanks for the feedback. It's worth checking that you are facing the bottle almost downwards when using. That way, the weight of the water pushes the ball into the correct position, which stops the water flowing when your dog is not drinking. All the best The Long Paws team

Flimsy...not water tight...
I was looking for a bottle that didn’t have a flap hanging down in the way of my dog drinking. This is the perfect solution! Took my 1-year old Frenchie a few days to get used to it (he was cautious of it at first) but now he loves it, and I love not having to carry around a bowl!
I didn’t realise you did 3 sizes. These ones were bigger than I expected. I really wanted the next size down.

I wasn't sure my Frenchie would take to this new way of drinking but she loves it! The only minor downside is that it drips a bit so you wouldn't want to use it indoors (why would you anyway?), but apart from that it's 100% thumbs up from us!
Bottle Top replacement Bought our original Dog water bottle for our first dog back in 2012, it got used and used and used, New pup arrived in 2021, the screw top cover just came off in my hand, but yay, luckily we now have the wonderful replacement top, woohoo. Does exactly what the name says, Fab item, fab price, fab bottle idea, and fab company. Our English Bull Terriers love their water bottle. Fingers crossed for another 10yr life.
